Allen-Bradley Motion Control

Allen-Bradley Motion control systemen worden toegepast voor nauwkeurige positionering, snelheidsregeling en synchronisatie van beweging binnen industriële automatisering. Deze oplossingen worden ingezet in machines en productielijnen waar gecontroleerde en herhaalbare beweging essentieel is.

Binnen het portfolio van Rockwell Automation nemen Motion control systemen een belangrijke positie in. Zij worden vaak geïntegreerd met PLC-systemen zoals ControlLogix en CompactLogix voor volledige besturing van aandrijvingen en servo-oplossingen.

Wat is Motion Control?

Motion control verwijst naar het aansturen van motoren en aandrijfsystemen waarbij positie, snelheid en koppel nauwkeurig worden geregeld. In tegenstelling tot standaard frequentieregelaars wordt bij motion control vaak gebruikgemaakt van servo-aandrijvingen en feedbacksystemen voor hoge precisie.

Kinetix

De Kinetix serie behoort tot de meest toegepaste Allen-Bradley Motion control oplossingen. Deze servo drives zijn ontworpen voor nauwkeurige besturing van servomotoren binnen uiteenlopende industriële toepassingen.

Kinetix systemen worden vaak geïntegreerd binnen EtherNet/IP-netwerken en gecombineerd met ControlLogix of CompactLogix controllers. Dankzij hun schaalbaarheid zijn zij geschikt voor zowel enkelassige toepassingen als complexe meervoudige bewegingssystemen.

Binnen moderne automatiseringsprojecten vormt Kinetix vaak de basis van het motion control platform.

Ultra 3000

De Ultra 3000 is een eerdere generatie servo drive binnen het Allen-Bradley Motion control portfolio. Deze systemen worden nog regelmatig aangetroffen in bestaande installaties waar precisiebeweging vereist is.

Hoewel de Ultra 3000 serie inmiddels is opgevolgd door nieuwere generaties zoals Kinetix, blijft ondersteuning van deze systemen belangrijk voor onderhoud en vervanging binnen bestaande productielijnen.
