The softstarter PSE250-600-70-1 is designed for industrial applications, providing a rated maximum operational current of 250 A and accommodating an operating voltage range from 208 to 600 V AC. The unit operates with a control voltage between 100 to 250 V AC at 50/60 Hz, making it versatile for various electrical setups.


This model features a two-phase control system that enables a smooth start and stop through either a voltage or torque ramp. With a built-in bypass function, installation is straightforward and promotes energy efficiency.


The softstarter comes equipped with a RUN, TOR, and Event signal relay output in the normally open (NO) state, facilitating efficient monitoring and control.


Moreover, the PSE is rich in protective features including current limit, kickstart, analog output, end-of-line (EOL) monitoring, underload, and locked rotor protection. Its illuminated display uses universal symbols, providing an intuitive interface regardless of language.


Communication with the PSE can be achieved through hardwired inputs for Start/Stop and fault resets, or via Modbus RTU fieldbus communication. Additionally, an external Fieldbus adaptor and plug can enhance connectivity.


As a multi-functional softstarter, the PSE250-600-70-1 strikes an ideal balance between high starting capacity and cost efficiency, making it perfectly suited for small to medium-sized three-phase motors with nominal currents ranging from 18 to 370 A. Common applications include pumps, fans, compressors, and conveyors, positioning this device as a reliable choice for diverse industrial environments.

The softstarter PSE250-600-70-1 has a rated maximum operational current of 250 A with an operating voltage span from 208...600 V AC. The rated control voltage is between 100...250 V AC at 50/60 Hz. PSE features a two-phase control with a soft start and stop through a voltage or a torque ramp. It has built-in bypass for easy installation and energy saving. A RUN, TOR, and Event signal is available from a relay output in NO (normally open state). The PSE has functions such as current limit, kickstart, analog output, EOL, underload, and locked rotor protection. To interact with PSE, it has an Illuminated display that uses symbols to become language neutral. As an option, you can add an identical external keypad with a rating of IP66. There are three ways to communicate with PSE. It can be done by hardwire inputs Start/Stop or by Reset of fault. Another popular option is the built-in fieldbus communication Modbus RTU. You can also use an external adaptor and a Fieldbus plug. PSE is a true general pur­pose softstarter. It’s a perfect balance be­tween high starting capacity and cost effi­ciency. Very suitable for small to medium-sized three-phase motors with nominal currents from 18...370 A. Typical applications are, for example, pumps, fans, compressors, and conveyors.
