The Siemens SIRIUS 3RW4453-2BC45 is a high-performance soft starter designed for reliable motor control in demanding industrial environments. It ensures smooth motor starting, reduces mechanical stress, and limits inrush current, contributing to longer service life and improved system availability.

Rated for operation at 400–600 V AC, this SIRIUS soft starter delivers 551 A and up to 355 kW at 500 V and 40 °C. In inside-delta configuration, it supports currents up to 954 A and motor power up to 630 kW, making it suitable for heavy-duty applications in manufacturing, process industry, and infrastructure.

The unit features spring-type terminals for secure and maintenance-friendly wiring and reflects Siemens’ proven engineering quality. Typical applications include pumps, fans, compressors, and conveyors where controlled starting is essential.

Please note: this product is phased out. The recommended successor within the SIRIUS range is the 3RW5 series, with preferred replacement type 3RW5548-2HA16. This ensures long-term availability and compliance with current standards.

Are all products available from stock immediately?
New and tested refurbished products from our stock are always available immediately. Untested and non-refurbished products undergo a thorough refurbishment and an extensive testing procedure before shipment.
Can I order products urgently?
Yes, you can. New and refurbished products that are ready for shipment will be dispatched the same day if the order is received before 16:00 CET. An express shipment to the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, or Italy will arrive the next day. An express shipment to other countries in the European Union takes 2 days. An express shipment to countries outside the European Union takes 3 days.
