The Siemens SIPART PS2 smart electropneumatic positioner is designed for precise and reliable control of pneumatic linear and part-turn actuators in industrial process automation. This model operates with a 2-wire 4–20 mA control signal and supports single-acting actuators, providing accurate valve positioning and stable process performance.


The device features a robust polycarbonate enclosure for standard industrial environments and includes an integrated Digital I/O Module with one digital input and three digital outputs for limit signaling and fault indication. Optional analog input and output modules allow flexible integration into existing control architectures.


Fail-safe functionality ensures depressurization of the actuator in the event of power loss, supporting safe plant operation. The positioner is suitable for applications where reliability, diagnostics, and compact design are essential.
