The Siemens SIPART PS2 Smart electropneumatic positioner is a proven solution for precise and reliable valve control in demanding industrial process environments. Designed for pneumatic linear and part-turn actuators, this positioner supports a 4…20 mA control signal and features non-contacting, wear-free position detection (NCS) for long-term accuracy and minimal maintenance.


This version is suitable for double-acting actuators and is supplied in a robust polycarbonate enclosure. It is equipped with an Analog Output Module (AOM) providing 4…20 mA analog position feedback, enabling seamless integration into modern process control systems. Electrical connection is via M20x1.5 thread, while the pneumatic connection uses 1/4" NPT.


The SIPART PS2 Smart is supplied without explosion protection, limit monitoring, manometer block, venting gauge block, or booster. A fail-safe depressurizing function is supported for single-acting actuators in the event of electrical power failure. Optional accessories such as the M12 device plug and the SITRANS I100 isolating power supply can be ordered separately.


Please note that this product is in phase-out status. It remains a reliable choice for system extensions, replacements, or maintenance of existing Siemens SIPART installations within industrial automation and control applications.

Are all products available from stock immediately?
New and tested refurbished products from our stock are always available immediately. Untested and non-refurbished products undergo a thorough refurbishment and an extensive testing procedure before shipment.
Can I order products urgently?
Yes, you can. New and refurbished products that are ready for shipment will be dispatched the same day if the order is received before 16:00 CET. An express shipment to the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, or Italy will arrive the next day. An express shipment to other countries in the European Union takes 2 days. An express shipment to countries outside the European Union takes 3 days. 
Can I have products repaired urgently?
