The Siemens SIPART PS2 Smart 6DR5520-0NN02-0AA4 is an electropneumatic positioner designed for precise and reliable valve control in industrial process automation. Equipped with PROFIBUS PA communication, this smart positioner ensures seamless integration into modern distributed control systems and process networks.

This version is suitable for both pneumatic linear and part-turn actuators and supports double-acting operation. It is housed in a robust polycarbonate enclosure and is supplied without explosion protection, making it suitable for standard industrial environments. Electrical connection is provided via 1/2" NPT, while the pneumatic connection uses 1/4" NPT, ensuring compatibility with common installation standards.

The device is supplied without an internal potentiometer for position detection; however, it includes an Analog Input Module (AIM) for connecting external position detection systems such as NCS sensors or Siemens position transmitters from the 6DR4004 series. This offers flexibility for retrofit or advanced measurement setups.

The SIPART PS2 Smart supports fail-safe functionality for single-acting actuators by depressurizing the actuator in the event of electrical power failure. A double-acting aluminum manometer block with plastic manometers (IP31, MPa/psi) is included for local pressure indication.

Please note that this product is marked as Phase-Out. It remains a proven and reliable solution for maintenance, replacement, or expansion of existing SIPART installations where PROFIBUS PA communication is required.

An express shipment to the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, or Italy will arrive the next day. An express shipment to other countries in the European Union takes 2 days. An express shipment to countries outside the European Union takes 3 days.
