The SIMATIC RACK PC 840 is engineered for robust performance in demanding industrial settings. Featuring AGP graphics with 16 MB onboard memory and equipped with a 10/100 Mbit's Ethernet RJ45 port, this rack-mounted PC ensures seamless integration and efficient operation.

With a compact footprint of 64,00 x 64,00 x 42,00 mm, the SIMATIC PC 840 offers versatility for various applications. It includes multiple USB ports, with one on the front and two on the rear, providing convenient connectivity options for peripherals.

Designed with stability in mind, the system incorporates temperature monitoring and a watchdog feature that guarantees continuous operation. Its internal architecture houses five PCI slots, two PCI/ISA slots, and three ISA slots, allowing for extensive expansion possibilities.

The heart of the system is a Celeron 566 MHz processor boasting a 66MHz FSB and 128 KB SLC cache. Coupled with a 40 GB EIDE HDD and 64 MB of SD-RAM-133, this rack PC delivers reliable performance for data-intensive tasks.

Ideal for industrial environments, it supports a vibration tolerance of up to 0.5 G and can withstand shocks of up to 5 G. The unit operates on 110/230V and comes with a NAMUR-compliant power pack and a European power cable.
Please note that this model is currently obsolete and is supplied without an operating system; however, it includes the SIMATIC PC Diagmonitor Software V1.0 for system diagnostics.

New and tested refurbished products from our stock are always available immediately. Untested and non-refurbished products undergo a thorough refurbishment and an extensive testing procedure before shipment.
Can I order products urgently?
Yes, you can. New and refurbished products that are ready for shipment will be dispatched the same day if the order is received before 16:00 CET. An express shipment to the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, or Italy will arrive the next day. An express shipment to other countries in the European Union takes 2 days. An express shipment to countries outside the European Union takes 3 days.
