The Siemens SIMATIC Rack PC 847B (6ES7643-8LP34-3XA0) is an industrial rack-mounted PC designed for demanding automation and control environments. As part of the SIMATIC Rack PC portfolio, this system delivers reliable performance, long-term stability, and seamless integration into existing Siemens automation architectures.


This industrial PC is equipped with an Intel Core 2 Duo T7400 processor (2.16 GHz) and 2 GB DDR2 RAM in dual-channel configuration, ensuring stable operation for control, visualization, and monitoring tasks. The integrated RAID1 system with two 250 GB SATA hard drives in removable, hot-swappable frames provides enhanced data security and system availability, which is essential in industrial applications.


The PC 847B offers extensive connectivity, including two Gigabit Ethernet RJ45 ports, VGA output, PROFIBUS/MPI interface, multiple USB 2.0 ports, serial and parallel interfaces, as well as audio connections. With an 11-slot bus module supporting PCI and PCIe expansions, the system allows flexible adaptation to application-specific requirements.


Designed for industrial use, the unit features temperature and fan monitoring, a hardware watchdog, and an industrial-grade power supply with NAMUR support.
